About Hannah

I'm a social worker working in Trust & Safety incident operations, which means I bring a clinical lens to high-stakes decisions, crisis response, and policy when it matters most. My background runs from family preservation to emergency department social work to tech, so I've spent over a decade in complex situations where judgment, clear communication, and actual care for people aren't optional.

These days I'm focused on how Trust & Safety teams make and document decisions. I've designed a Gemini-based tool for QA dispute resolution, developed the strategy for an AI-assisted licensure-verification tool, and led a policy documentation audit with Gemini and NotebookLM that became the accuracy reference set for an internal citation model.

I'm most interested in where social workers fit in Trust & Safety, responsible AI, and policy operations—anywhere human behavior meets systems. I'm not an engineer and I don't play one on the internet. My thing is translating frontline operational problems into workflows and tools people actually use.

The Social Work Lens

How social work shapes my work in technology

My social work background keeps people, context, and human consequences at the center of how I approach systems. It trained me to make careful decisions in high-stakes situations—and to know that how you say something matters as much as what you say. I'm fluent in code-switching: I can make the same case to a frontline rep, a product team, and an executive, and each version lands the way it needs to for the person hearing it. I translate on-the-ground problems into practical workflows that support both the people using them and the people affected by them.
