Founder and Social Impact Entrepreneur | Product Designer | Healthcare Consultant
Tampa, Florida, USATampa, FL, USA
I am a digital health strategist and social worker focused on using technology to improve health and well-being in ways that are equitable, practical, and responsive to people’s lived realities. My work sits at the intersection of social work, public health, technology strategy, and organizational transformation. I am particularly interested in responsible AI, digital health innovation, human-centered design, and the systems that shape how people access services and experience care. Much of my work involves helping organizations and multidisciplinary teams navigate complex change by connecting people, policy, operations, and technology. I translate complex challenges into practical strategies that can be implemented in real-world settings.

Social Worker in Trust & Safety | Incident Operations | Human-Centered AI Workflows
Tucson, Arizona, USATucson, AZ, USA
I'm a social worker working in Trust & Safety incident operations, which means I bring a clinical lens to high-stakes decisions, crisis response, and policy when it matters most. My background runs from family preservation to emergency department social work to tech, so I've spent over a decade in complex situations where judgment, clear communication, and actual care for people aren't optional. These days I'm focused on how Trust & Safety teams make and document decisions. I've designed a Gemini-based tool for QA dispute resolution, developed the strategy for an AI-assisted licensure-verification tool, and led a policy documentation audit with Gemini and NotebookLM that became the accuracy reference set for an internal citation model. I'm most interested in where social workers fit in Trust & Safety, responsible AI, and policy operations—anywhere human behavior meets systems. I'm not an engineer and I don't play one on the internet. My thing is translating frontline operational problems into workflows and tools people actually use.

Social Work AI Veteran
Silicon Valley, California, USASilicon Valley, CA, USA
I’m a social worker and AI developer with nearly three decades of experience in human services. As one of the few social work practitioners applying AI to social work and education before it was widely adopted, I engaged in early, trailblazing work focused on building practical, responsible, and ethical systems grounded in frontline practice and public-sector accountability. As CEO of Kool Arrow Solutions, LLC, I focus on creating AI-powered products that protect clients, support frontline staff, and reduce burnout – not replace human relationships. My work combines real-world social work experience, policy and ethics, and hands-on AI development. Today my work centers on: • Designing AI assistants that help mandated reporters, social workers, and educators navigate complex, high-risk scenarios. • Supporting schools, districts, agencies, and universities as they modernize practice while staying grounded in equity, ethics, and client safety. I’m especially interested in collaborating with: • Organizations and agencies exploring Social Work + AI • Organizations that want AI tools designed by people who actually understand social work on the frontlines, not just tech teams If you’re exploring how to bring AI into social work or education in a practical, responsible, and ethical way, I’d love to connect.

I'm John Webb, LMSW. I spent 20+ years as a geriatric care manager in hospital discharge planning and home health coordination before building practical care technology full-time under Webb Family Care Systems. The apps: Medication Call Reminder places automated phone-call medication reminders for patients, coordinated through family caregivers, care managers, and providers; CareJournalHub is a care coordination and documentation platform for geriatric care management practices; Family Caregiver Today is a free weekly audio newsletter with caregiver education; and DailyCareHello is a non-clinical family check-in app that keeps families in touch through text, photos, voice notes, and short video.

Product Manager
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USAPittsburgh, PA, USA
I moved from the clinical realm into product work at AbleTo, where I started as a clinical content producer and eventually held clinical product responsibility for our entire product suite, which included a self-care app, coaching program, therapy program, and blended therapy and coaching. I now work at Geisinger Health System, where I support the inpatient technology portfolio.
